Quinjata bay in the Inhambane Province offers several world class, largely protected and not overcrowded reefs for scuba diving. From beginner to advanced diver this region offers everybody a challenge. The water temperature is lovely from 29 degrees in the summer to 22 degrees in the winter and visibility can be up to 40 metres!

Only a twenty minutes boat trip will bring you to the Manta reef (max depth 30m)which has to be on your must dive list. A large slab of rock rising out of the sandy floor offering fantastic walls, caves and canyons. Close encounters with Manta rays, Whale sharks and Dolphins are practically guaranteed and make this a phenomenal dive site. Other local dive sites are: Paindane Express. (19-40m), Coral Gardens (12m), Green Tree (25-30m+).
